4. The buckle of the belt needs to be considered too, while identifying the right belt size. In case of belts with large buckles, ask the shop assistant to give you just the belt strap. This is so you can access the belt size better.
Remember, never to measure the belt size from one tip of the belt to the other. A large section of this measurement is of no use to you. Purchase a belt keeping these tips in mind and you will never get the belt size wrong.
